Food Preservation Workshops

Preserving Spring
 
Preserving Spring: Make Spring last longer! We will be taking the peak of Spring flavors and canning them to enjoy when it's cold out. Learn basic food preservation techniques and safety while making a savory herb jelly, garden pickle and more.  Everything will be sourced from the Hollywood Farmers Market.  Class includes: Jars of finished product, appetizers while we work and recipes/guide.

Preserving Spicy Goodies
 
 
Preserving Spicy Goodies: Perfect for the spicy lovers! This class is dedicated to "putting up" all things hot and spicy. During this class, we will be making pepperoncini, jalapeno carrots and a few other hot treats while learning basic food preservation techniques.  Class includes: Jars of finished product, appetizers while we work and recipes/guide.

Making Summertime Preserves
 
 
Making Summertime Preserves: Celebrate Summer year-round by making a number of preserves made from peak produce from the Hollywood Farmers Market.  Make preserved lemons, berry-lemonade concentrate and a few other items while learning about basic food preservation. Class includes: Jars of finished product, appetizers while we work and recipes/guide.
